Tucked beneath the canopy of an orange tree, this open doorway felt like it had been waiting for someone ~ maybe a long-awaited traveler. What drew me in was the home’s green stucco, an unusual shade, textured with age and weather. It wasn’t just a door; it was a study in contrast and warmth, the kind of scene that begs to be captured in layers of watercolor. I had fun with this one!
